A Tool to Help you Understand the Strength of WOO®
Welcome to the Leadership Vision Podcast, our show helping you build a positive team culture. Our consulting firm has been doing this work for the past 25 years, ensuring that leaders are mentally engaged and emotionally healthy.
Do you have the Strength of WOO®, or do you know someone who does? Or, if not WOO®, which one of your Strengths is most misunderstood by you or others?
Today on the podcast, we want to share a new resource that may help you better understand the Strength of WOO® specifically and perhaps others more generally. How many of us can point to a situation when our Strengths have been misunderstood in one way or another? Despite our best efforts to help others understand who we are, there’s something that’s just not quite lining up.
This will help.
A little bit about WOO®
Have you ever marveled at the way someone works a crowd with ease? When a flight is overbooked or an emergency appointment needs to be made, do you ever wonder how someone gets the point person to smile and provide help? Have you ever noticed how some people soak up information in their surroundings? These people may have the Strength of WOO®.
After engaging with over 50,000 people and their Strengths, we have found the theme of WOO® is one of the most misunderstood. At its core, WOO® is a social intelligence theme. People with the strength of WOO® have a great capacity to inspire and motivate others. And WOO® is not just a cheerleader, although it is the only Strength with its own cheer! Instead, WOO® is adept and skillful in the social setting.
How to Understand Different Types of WOO®
And we know that each person has a unique expression of their Strengths, but how do you know what that expression is? When two people share the same Strength like WOO® (or any other), how can you determine the similarities and differences?
Strengths discovery is a multi-faceted approach. It takes time and a willingness to lean into our Strengths with Self-Awareness. When we become more aware of our Strengths and how they’re showing up in our interactions with others, we’re better able to ask questions like, “how am I coming across?” “How am I communicating interestingly and helpfully to others?” “What is the work I need to do versus the work of others?”
At Leadership Vision, we have created a tool called a ThemePrint to help you with this Self-Awareness. It enables you to process and understand your Strengths differently. And since WOO® is one of the most-searched-for terms on our website, we thought we would make this ThemePrint available to download for just $4.99.
The content of this download is new and exclusive to this ThemePrint – meaning it’s not online or in any books or found in any other curriculum. So, if you’d like to learn more about how you WOO® and perhaps feel less misunderstood by others, click the link in the show notes to download this helpful resource today.
