LVC is now at CoCo Minneapolis
CoCo Minneapolis. It’s Official, we’re in our first space. This is a very catalytic step for us. It was time to pull the trigger on getting a place to park our brains and build on what we have been doing so well for the past few years. Building strong teams.
This was getting harder for us to do as we were having to work virtually, or find a third space to meet in. We didn’t want some generic office lease. We needed a space where we could creatively collaborate with each other. The physical space you occupy when you work has a lot to do with your overall level of engagement with your job (think office space). We also liked the concept of working in the coffee shop third space, and didn’t want to fully give that up.
Why Co-Working
In early March I read an article about shared coworking spaces popping up across the country. Many of these were developed by nomadic writers, web developers and other creative types, tired of the isolation of working alone. These spaces provide all the normal amenities of a modern office, plus the benefits of the networking and creative energy of a coffee shop. Perfect!
Since we have spent most of the last two years working out of said coffee shop (thank you Wilde Roast), this sounded like an ideal solution. Our new home, CoCo, is located in the old Grain Exchange building in downtown Minneapolis. CoCo is…
a place where independent workers, small businesses and corporate workgroups can gather to share ideas, team up on projects and get some work done. We’re a business center that gives you an alternative to working from home or meeting at the local coffee shop.
This is awesome. They also have great coffee. Stay tuned for more updates as we settle in. Now lets get to work!
