We are taking StrengthsFinder to Minneapolis, Sioux Falls and Washington, DC – Join Us!
The past 365 days have just flown by. It was a little longer than that when I gave my one month notice at my employer of 14 years and embarked on this amazing journey of working at a small, growing, boutique consulting firm focused on what is right about people – their strengths.
We have found beyond a shadow of a doubt that the people who experience what we do often refer our company and hire us to work with theirs. One of our challenges as a small firm is getting the word out about what we do. We do not have a big marketing budget. We do not have a lead creation website that is funneling us tons of new leads. But, even without that, we are growing.
Our Team
One of the amazing benefits to working at our company is that I am surrounded by the most talented group of people I have ever worked with. Brian, our President, is a creative visionary who continually pushes us to not rest on our laurels but break new ground. His strengths of Competition and Intellection paired with Futuristic allow him to see into the future and push us towards heights we did not think we might be able to achieve.
Linda, one of our senior consultants, has an amazing ability to engage people during our work in ways that give permission for people to open up and share what they may never have shared before with their co-workers. Linda’s strengths of Empathy paired with Individualization and Strategic empower participants to invest in the process of discovering their strengths and the people who they work with.
Nathan, another senior consultant, is our resident scientist. Nathan is high in the strengths of Ideation and Maximizer paired with Communication. This enables Nathan to come up with new ideas to help us stay on the leading edge of people who work with the StrengthsFinder personality test. Nathan is able to get his ideas across in ways that make sense, make a difference and truly helps us move forward.
Aleasha is another colleague who is a senior consultant who brings a presence and teaching ability that adds to every engagement she is a part of. Her strengths of Activator and Relator allow her to jump right in and find common ground with any participant who is at one of our engagements. Aleasha can connect with the people who sometimes are not the easiest nuts to crack.
Finally Carrie is our client service manager and she handles so many things that make all the rest of us look like we have it together. Carrie has the strengths of Arranger and Responsibility which keep her juggling many variables at the same time while taking complete ownership over key systems and processes.
I spent many years consulting on my own and did some really good work with clients during that time. The work we are now doing together as a team is at a far higher level than what I could achieve on my own. I am so thankful to this team of people, all of whom are very talented in their own right, who choose to work together as a team with little or no ego, to continually deliver experiences that help companies and teams become focused on strengths.
Would you like to experience that team and why we do what we do?
We have three opportunities coming up to experience why we do what we do with StrengthsFinder and teams. Our preview experiences are from 1 – 4:30 pm and will go through our core offerings of strengths education day, 1 to 1 conversations, and 360 interactive learning day. More than just showing you how, we get into the ‘why’ of what we are doing, and why ½ day seminars about strengths are not enough.
